Acceptance of the Present Moment - As it is

Acceptance of the present moment, as it is.

Acceptance may be considered by many as detached (to which it is), or more commonly disinterested, passive or uncaring at times, for the reason that acceptance translates to a peaceful and emotionally balanced disposition so this means not being emotionally reactive or mentally affected by that of which is outside of you. To be consciously and compassionately unattached to what is outside of your energy field - is what acceptance is about.

How do you get to a place of acceptance? If we don't particularly like a situation or circumstance in our lives we have the choice to change or accept it at any given time. The option is available to change ourselves for the better (attributes and attitudes) or infuse love in our perception of it (by removing assumptions and judgements), or by making a genuine effort (words and actions) to improve the situation or circumstance, if we recognise it may be helpful and for our higher good.

Now if you have made a positive effort to improve the situation or circumstance, or choose not to make these type of positive changes or invest the effort then just allow and don't fight it to force change to occur outside of yourself or within other Souls - just simply accept what it has become to be, with acknowledgement of all Souls concerned (whether consciously or subconsciously). It is an acceptance of what course of action or inaction you chose, and an acceptance of the situation's outcome, with the free-will honoured of all.

It is an empowering space to be in - to acknowledge that you at all times (in the past, present, future) have the gift of choice and free-will concerning yourself, and gift of choice is also a right for others to have choices and the freedom concerning themselves.

So without judgement or assuming – you accept what is, as it is – as it is due to the choices you made, choices made by each person if it involves other Souls, and the outcome here and now as the result. If you find yourself thinking – if I had of done this or that then life would be different. Yes, while it may have been different, the reality of the situation is that it is not – it is what it is now. The purpose of reflection is to use the experience to learn and change any future actions based on this re-discovered knowledge.
